How I Help You Plan an International Elopement—Even If You've Never Traveled Abroad

Eloping Abroad Doesn’t Have to Be Complicated—Let’s Make It Feel Effortless

Thinking of saying “I do” somewhere breathtaking like the cliffs of Ireland, the lavender fields of France, or the black sand beaches of Iceland—but unsure where to start?

You’re not alone.

A lot of couples dream of an international elopement, but the thought of planning it all from another country can feel overwhelming. That’s where I come in. I help couples plan destination elopements in places they’ve never been before—and here’s exactly how I make the process smooth, exciting, and stress-free.

Step One: Finding the Right Location (And Making It Legal)

Even if you don’t know exactly where you want to elope, I’ll help you narrow it down based on:

  • Scenery you love (mountains, oceans, castles, cities, etc.)

  • Climate and seasons

  • Legal requirements for getting married vs. symbolic ceremonies

  • Accessibility and travel times

I'll guide you through the difference between a legal ceremony vs. symbolic one abroad (many couples choose to legally marry in the U.S. and hold a symbolic elopement abroad—this allows for more flexibility).

Step Two: I Handle the Heavy Lifting—Research, Scouting & Planning

I don’t just show up with a camera. I:

  • Scout locations virtually and through trusted local contacts

  • Check lighting conditions, crowds, and weather patterns

  • Create a custom elopement timeline tailored to your travel schedule and the best time for photos

Step Three: Travel Support You Can Count On

As someone who’s deeply passionate about exploring new places with my couples, I’m with you every step of the way. I travel with an assistant or second shooter to make sure no moment is missed and you feel completely supported.

I also build my travel fees into your elopement package so there are no surprises. That includes:

  • Flights

  • Hotel stays

  • Transportation (rental car, ferry, etc.)

  • Meals and on-the-go support

Step Four: Timeline Creation, Permits, and Peace of Mind

Once your location is locked in, I create a full photo-focused elopement day timeline so everything flows naturally.

Depending on the country or specific location (like a national park or protected site), I’ll also guide you through:

  • Permits

  • Entry fees

  • Cultural considerations

You Don’t Need to Be a Travel Pro—You Just Need to Dream Big

Whether it’s your first time leaving the country or you’re seasoned travelers, I’ve designed my international elopement process to feel grounded, thoughtful, and fun.

You deserve a day that feels like you—in a place that inspires you. I’m here to help make it all happen, without the stress.
